Pink October is known as the month to help and raise awareness for breast cancer worldwide.
NAUI Instructor Trainer Carole Mutran, #60825, known as ScubaCaroll from Lebanon gathered her students and friends on October 12th for a fun dive. Profits from this dive would help raise money for the Lebanese Breast Cancer Foundation and the fees for the treatment of patients.
15 scuba divers attended the 1st annual dive. The amount of money collected and donations are not known because donations were held in secrecy, the box of donations sealed and locked. Only the foundation has the key.
This dive will be planned again for next October with more strength and determination.
